The angle grinder course enhances the student's practical and theoretical approach to and knowledge of power tools, and enables the student to be aware of the dangers and precautions associated with the use of the equipment.
Upon course completion the student will be able to:
- Recognize the dangers of using an angle grinder
- Identify the methods for marking angle grinders in terms of type and speed
- Specify the methods for storing, handling and transporting angle grinders
- Demonstrate the methods for the testing and inspection of angle grinder discs for damages
- Demonstrate the correct method of mounting an angle grinder, including knowledge of its functions of the components
- Demonstrate the method of grinding and leveling a disc - Adjust angle grinders correctly
- Know the requirements of the set regulations
- Know the risks associated with power tools
- Operate angle grinders
This is a customer-specific course, adapted to meet each customer's specific needs and challenges. Our Abrasive Wheels certificate is valid for 2 years.
