By “Hot Work” we mean welding, roofing, angle grinding, heating, soldering, drying, weed burning and other work, where you operate with heat-developing tools in relation to machine assembly, alterations to and extensions of buildings, modernisations, maintenance work, repair work, etc.
Upon course completion the student will, amongst other things, have acquired theoretical and practical competencies within the areas of:
- Insurance conditions and legislation
- Fire fighting theory
- Relevant aspects of construction conditions
- Pressure cylinders - Hand-held extinguishing equipment
- Extinguishing methods/exercises - Areas at particular risks for fire ignition
This is a customer-specific course, adapted to meet each customer's specific needs and challenges. Our Hot Work certificate is valid for 2 years; though, no DBI certificate will be issued for this course.
