This is the advanced confined space course where the student acquires skills andunderstanding of working in small, enclosed spaces as well as air breathing equipment.

During the course, the student will gain knowledge that enables him/her to select suitable equipment for descent and hauling, as well as to use it correctly, under supervision. In addition, the student will gain knowledge of the use of detection equipment and of escape devices. Further, the courses contain information about: risk assessment when working in enclosed spaces; detection equipment; health hazards; safety equipment and user-control; as well as first aid for people in confined spaces and a range of practical exercises.
