The MEWP Spotter course will develop and enhance the student's competencies in assessing safe MEWP work environments and the related procedures.
In addition, a MEWP Spotter will be trained in what the role of MEWP Spotter entails, the spotter responsibilities and the identification of hazards in MEWP work. The MEWP spotter’s central role is to observe the MEWP and the MEWP operator, in order to avoid hazardous situations and accidents. Similarly, a MEWP Spotter will be able to perform emergency operations of the MEWP and emergency rescue of people from the MEPW 3A and 3B, at heights.
This is a customer-specific course, adapted to meet each customer's specific needs and challenges. An IPAF certificate will not be issued for this course.
