The Manual Handling course provides the participants with basic knowledge and skills that enable them to work safely in a wide range of industries. The course will increase the students' awareness of ergonomics, encourage positive manual handling behaviors, and ensure that the student can perform manual handling tasks safely, reducing the long-term effects of musculoskeletal disorders.
This is a customer-specific course, adapted to meet each customer's specific needs and challenges. Our Manual Handling certificate is valid for 2 years.
Through theoretical and practical exercises the course participants will be able to:

To demonstrate an understanding of the importance of being able to perform work tasks in a safe and sensible manner and in accordance with the legal requirements for the area in which the participants work

To identify aspects of their job responsibilities that may increase the risk of developing muscle and bone injuries

To demonstrate an understanding of safe practices in manual handling, including proper handling of equipment

To identify signs and symptoms of injuries, related to poor manual handling techniques and to know the existing reporting methods

To analyse and propose problem-solving suggestions in order to improve manual handling situations within a wide range of work areas
