The training shall provide competence in;

  • Organization of emergency preparedness
  • Government and industry requirements
  • FRC technical
  • Maneuvering
  • Hook arrangement - release / hoisting
  • Navigation
  • Communication
  • Search and rescue
  • Practical first aid in a boat
  • Night driving

After completing the training, the participant must be able to;

  • Be able to launch, hook in, operate boat and equipment in a satisfactory manner
  • Master the most common search methods
  • Perform pick-up of person in the sea and be able to perform life-saving first aid for an injured person

Duration


Duration of the course: 4 days

  • 1 day is 8 hours with a minimum of 6 hours effective training
  • 1 hour is 60 minutes
  • Night driving after dark, 4 hours on day 3
