Passenger- and Crisis Management is held in accordance with Regulation V, Sections A-V/2 and Table A-V/2 of the STCW-Convention and contains theoretical and practical teaching in the subjects
- Passenger handling
- Safety training for crews in passenger areas
- Crisis management and human behavior
- Passenger safety, securing of cargo and ship openings
Valid course certificate (ie not older than 5 years) for Passenger and Crisis Management or documentation from the shipping company on maintained competence on board during the last 5 years. From 01.07.18, there will be requirements for course certificates / documentary evidence also from shipping companies, which offer maintenance of competence on board.
Duration of the course: 1 day
- 1 day is 9 school hours
- 1 school hour is 45 minutes
All seafarers who are employed or engaged in any position on board passenger ships or ro-ro passenger ships, and who have duties in an emergency situation.
