Courses: STCW Basic Safety Training for seafarers (imo50) with 9 hours e-learning

The course covers the requirements set out in Regulation VI/I of the STCW Convention, Sections A-VI/1 and Tables A-VI/1-1, 1-2, 1-3 and 1-4 and includes:

• Personal rescue techniques
• Preventive fire protection and firefighting
• Basic first aid
• Personal safety and care for human life and the environment

The course is approved according to IMO regulations and applies worldwide.

The first two course days are carried out as self-study on e-learning outside the course center, and the last three are carried out as practical training at the course center. E-learning can be completed when it suits you best, as long as it is completed before you attend the first practice day.

Duration of the course:

E-learning corresponding to two days at the course center takes about 9 hours to complete.

Practical training at the course center is 3 days.

• 1 day at the course center is 10 school hours
• 1 school hour is 45 minutes

E-learning must be completed and passed BEFORE you meet for the first practice day.
