Night time operation of FRC is a separate module that is only taken by personnel who must have this competence.

After completing the training, the participant should be able to:

  • Handle FRC-situations in the dark

The participant must be able to:

  • Perform systematic searches
  • Using a compass
  • Calculate distance


Prerequisites


FRC Basic training or FRC according to STCW Table A-VI/2-2.



Duration


Duration of night time operation-module: 4 hours with a minimum of 3 hours practical training.
