Training Methods
Lectures, videos, overhead projection, demonstrations and practical exercises, handouts and written assessment
 
Duration: 1 - 5 Day course (Duration is dependant upon delegates experience.)
 
Excavator Training Certification: Both ITSSAR National certification and In-house certification are available.

Course Aims
To train Dumper operators in safe operation to meet the minimum requirements of health and safety legislation.

Course Outline
This is a theoretical and practical course of structured tuition to ITSSAR standards.
 
Course Content
The theoretical and practical training covers the following elements:
•Current health and safety legislation as it affects Dumper operation
•Safety awareness and appreciation of the hazards involved in machine operation,
•Identify and comply with manufacturer’s instruction. 
•Identify function of controls. 
•Manoeuvre the Dumper with and without a load. 
•The various checks and maintenance to be carried out before commencing work;
•Capacities and limitations, legal requirements.
•Theoretical and practical assessments
 
Training Methods
