Courses: Slinger course (Anhukerkurs på engelsk)

The authorities require that Slingers/Signalmen have documented training in safely carrying out this work. This is the employer’s responsibility («Regulations on the execution of work» no. 1357, § 10-1 Requirements for documented safety training of work equipment that requires special care when used). The regulations require that users of this type of equipment and work have the necessary training, practice and instruction in its safe use. It is also required that they are trained in the prevention of the risks connected to this type of work.

Purpose: To increase course participants’ knowledge of strapping, hooking and signaling, as well as awareness of safety measures, avoiding personal injury and workplace accidents.

The following topics are considered:
– Construction
– Marking
– Inspection and disposal of lifting equipment
– Lifting equipment tables
– Safety Theory
– Laws and Regulations

Target group: The course is designed for workers who assist crane operators with strapping, hooking and signaling.
Duration: 7 hours.
Time: 08.30-16.00 (applies to open courses at our offices in Asker).
Prerequisites: none.
Price: The price is per participant, and this includes a course certificate.

The course is also offered as corporate training in Norwegian or in other languages upon request.
