GWO - Slinger Signaler

This course provides participants with the necessary knowledge, practical skills, and confidence to communicate effectively and perform safe signalling during lifting operations in the wind industry. The training focuses on the correct use of slinger signals and clear communication between personnel, which are essential to ensure safe and efficient lifting operations.

Participants will also gain an understanding of the risks and hazards associated with such operations. The training provides the tools required to identify, control, and mitigate these risks through the correct use of personal protective equipment, emergency equipment, established procedures, and safe working practices.

Upon successful completion of the GWO Slinger Signaller (SLS) training, participants will be aware of the risks and hazards associated with slinger signalling within the wind industry. Furthermore, they will be able to control and mitigate these risks and hazards.

Validity of the certificate:
The Slinger Signaller Standard training is an enduring qualification; therefore, no specific validity period applies to this training.
This is conditional upon the participant remaining actively involved in slinger signalling tasks.
