GWO - Working at Heights
The aim of this module is to provide participants with comprehensive knowledge through a combination of theoretical instruction and practical training, to use basic personal protective equipment, work safety at height and preform comprehensive basic rescue from height in a remote wind turbine environment.
This will equip participants with the essential skills to:
- Use Basic Personal Protective Equipment: Participants will gain in-depth knowledge of the correct use of basic personal protective equipment, including harnesses, helmets, safety shoes, and other necessary gear. - Perform Comprehensive Basic Rescue Operations from Heights: Participants will acquire skills in executing complex rescue operations from heights in remote wind energy environments. This includes both the planning and execution of rescue missions, the use of rescue equipment, and collaborative methods to ensure the effective evacuation of individuals in distress.
Upon successful completion of the BST Working at Heights Module: The participants will possess the ability to act safely and responsibly when using basic personal protective equipment, working at heights, and performing comprehensive basic rescue procedures in remote wind turbine environments.
Certificate Validity Period:
