This gathering focuses on AIT training with the main goals of:

  • An understanding of procedures and working in a cleanroom environment
  • Create an insight into assembly, integration, testing and launching space equipment

More specifically, students will gain a better understanding of:

  • preparations and processes required to operate in a cleanroom
  • preparations and processes needed to operate in an ESD-safe environment
  • integration procedure in a cleanroom
  • vibration and shock testing
  • vacuum testing
  • qualification and acceptance test for space equipment
  • operations and infrastructure of Andøya Space
